Removing and replacing the M.2 enablement backplane
IMPORTANT:
The left and right sides of the chassis are oriented 180° from each other. Components
that are installed on one side of the chassis must be turned 180° when they are installed on the opposite
side.
Procedure
1.
Power down the server (
on page 28).
2.
Remove the server (
on page 28).
3.
Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
4.
Remove the access panel (
on page 29).
5.
on page 29).
6.
Disconnect the cable from the M.2 enablement backplane.
7.
Remove the M.2 enablement backplane.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
