Removing and replacing the LFF power switch module
Procedure
1.
Power down the server (
on page 41).
2.
Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3.
Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack (

• Remove the server from the rack (

4.
Remove the access panel (
on page 44).
5.
Remove all hot-plug hard drives (
on page 46).
6.
Remove the fan cage (

7.
Disconnect all cables connecting the power switch module to the system board and other components.
8.
Feeding the cables through the front of the server, remove the power switch module.
