Rack-mounting procedures at a glance
Follow these guidelines when installing the switch in a 19-inch rack:
1. The distance between the front and rear posts of the rack must meet the below mentioned requirements:

2. To secure the switch to the rack, you must install not only mounting brackets, but also chassisrails and slide rails.

The switch has two mounting bracket installation positions on its two sides: one near the networkport side and one near the power supply
side.
The switch provides a primary grounding point (with a grounding sign) and an auxiliary groundingpoint.
