Part replacement procedures

P05957-002

4.4.5 Fan replacement

To replace a fan:

1. Power down the system.

2. Disconnect the system from power.

3. Remove the front top cover.

4. Disconnect the fan cable from the fan control board.

5. Lift the fan out of the chassis.

6. Insert the replacement fan into the chassis.

7. Connect the fan cable to the fan control board.

8. Install the front top cover.

9. Connect the system to site power.

10. Power up the system.

4.4.6 Fan control board replacement

To replace the fan control board:

1. Power down the system.

2. Disconnect the system from power.

3. Remove the front top cover.

4. Disconnect the fans from the fan control board.

5. Disconnect the cables from the fan control board.

6. Remove the foam block over the control panel board.

7. Remove the screws that secure the fan control board.
