CAUTION: Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends performing a complete backup of all compute module data before
installing or removing a controller or adapter.
CAUTION:
CAUTION: In systems that use external data storage, be sure that the compute module is the first unit to be powered
down and the last to be powered back up. Taking this precaution ensures that the system does not erroneously mark the
drives as failed when the compute module is powered up.

5. Install the controller.
6. Install the front panel/drive cage assembly .
8. Install the compute module .
9. Power up the compute module.
