5. Remove the server blade from the chassis.
6. Place the server blade on a fl at, level work surface.
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the internal system
components to cool before touching them.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to electrical components, properly ground the server blade before beginning any
installation procedure. Improper grounding can cause Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
Removing the access panel
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server blade.
See Powering down the HP All-in-One SB600c Storage Blade Solution on page 19 for more
information.
2. Remove the server blade.
See Installing the HP AiO SB600c Server and Storage Blades on page 13 for more information.
3. Lift the access panel latch and slide the access panel to the rear.
4. Remove the access panel.
