Removal and replacement procedures  31 

a.

 

Disconnect all cables connected to existing expansion boards. 

b.

 

Loosen the captive thumbscrew on the front end of the PCI riser cage, and then remove the screws 
from its rear end. 

c.

 

Grasp the PCI riser cage at the touch points and lift it out of the chassis. 

 

8.

 

If you are removing the FlexibleLOM riser cage from the secondary PCIe riser location, do the following: 

a.

 

Disconnect all cables connected to existing expansion boards. 

b.

 

Loosen the captive thumbscrew on the front end of the PCI riser cage, and then remove the screw 
from its rear end. 

c.

 

Grasp the PCI riser cage at the touch points and lift it out of the chassis.
