For more information on the automatic configuration, refer to the

ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide
located on the Documentation CD.

Insert the SmartStart CD into the CD-ROM drive and reboot the server. Follow
the on-screen instructions to install the operating system.
For more information on installing the operating system, refer to the SmartStart
installation poster included in the ProLiant Essentials Foundation Pack or to the
operating system documentation.
4.
Install NetWare 5.1 Support Pack 5 or later after the operating system install is
complete. Insert the Support Pack CD and mount it. From the system console,
type
NWCONFIG
, then select
Product Options,
Install a Product not Listed.
Enter the appropriate path and launch the Support Pack installation.
5.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 for the second server.
Configuring the Shared Storage
To configure the shared storage:
1.
Power off the second server.
2.
From the first server, run cpqonlin.nlm (the NetWare Online Array Configuration
Utility) and select the
Smart Array Cluster Controller
to configure the shared
storage hard drives. Refer to the
HP
Array Configuration Utility User Guide
on
the Documentation CD for detailed information.
Configuring NetWare Cluster Services
Before installing NetWare Cluster Services (NCS), verify that NetWare recognizes
all the drives in the storage system by running the
List Devices
command on each
server to be added to the cluster. If any of the drives in the storage system are not
displayed in the list, consult the NetWare documentation or the storage system
documentation for troubleshooting information.
