Removal and replacement procedures  44

Slightly pull up the battery holder from the chassis to access the battery cable connection underneath it, 

and then disconnect the HP Smart Storage Battery cable. 

 

6.

 

Remove the HP Smart Storage Battery from its holder. 

 

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION:

  In systems that use external data storage, be sure that the server is the first unit to be
