Prepare the computer for disassembly (

2.
Remove the access panel (

).
3.
Disconnect the speaker wire from the system board connector labeled SPKR
(1)
.
4.
From the inside of the chassis, remove the Torx T15 screw
(2)
that secures the speaker to the front
of the chassis.
5.
Rotate the top of the speaker downward
(3)
, and then remove it from the chassis.
To replace the speaker, reverse the removal procedures.
