<ip address>
Use the
source-address
command to associate an IP address source for probe traffic. Use the
no
form of
this command to remove the source IP address.
Syntax Description
<ip address>
Specifies a valid IP address. IP addresses should be expressed in dotted decimal
notation (for example,
10.10.10.1
).
Default Values
By default, the IP address of the outbound interface is used.
Functional Notes
A valid local IP address must be entered for proper functionality.
Usage Examples
The following example configures the source IP address on
probe1
:
ProCurve(config)#
probe probe1 icmp-echo
ProCurve(config-probe-probe1)#
source-address 10.10.10.1
