Remove the ExpressCard assembly:
1.
Position the top cover upside-down, with the front toward you.
2.
Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws

that secure the assembly to the top cover.
3.
Lift the tab of the assembly
(2)
until it disengages from the opening in the top cover.
4.
Remove the ExpressCard board and cable
(3)
from the top cover.
Reverse this procedure to install the ExpressCard assembly.
RJ-11 connector cable
NOTE:
The RJ-11 connector cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 639473-001.
Before removing the RJ-11 connector cable, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
