1.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

2.

Place the computer in “Battery Safe mode” (

).

3.

Remove the bottom cover (

Bottom cover on page 35

).

4.

Remove the battery (

Battery on page 36

).

Remove the hard drive:

1.

Release the ZIF connector (1), and then disconnect the hard drive cable from the system board (2).

2.

Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (3) that secure the hard drive to the computer.

3.

Use the tab to lift the hard drive from the bay (4).
