1.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (

3.

Remove the bottom cover (

Bottom cover on page 36

).

4.

Remove the battery (

Battery on page 35

).

Remove the speaker assembly:

1.

Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1).

2.

Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 6.0 screws (2) that secure the speakers to the computer.

3.

Remove the speakers from the computer (3).

Reverse this procedure to install the speaker assembly.
