Cooling fan controller
The cooling fan controller supplies power to the fans. The ECS sends control signals to increase or decrease
the fan speed to regulate cold-aisle pressure and hot-aisle temperature.
The cooling fan controller is located in the ceiling in front of the fan banks.
CAUTION:
Removing the cooling fan controller makes all fans within the affected zone
inoperable. Take this into consideration when deciding whether to continue operating IT within
the affected zone. HP recommends powering down all IT in the zone.
You need a screwdriver to remove and replace the cooling fan controller.
