Removal and Replacement Procedures

The thermal pads and thermal paste should be thoroughly 
cleaned from the surfaces of the fan/heat sink assembly

surfaces before the fan/heat sink assembly is reinstalled.

sink assembly, system board, and processor spare part kits.

Thermal Pad and Thermal Paste Locations

Reverse the above procedure to install the fan/heat sink assembly.
