1.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

2.

Remove the base enclosure (see

3.

Disconnect the cable from the battery (see 

Battery on page 38

), and then remove the following 

components:

a.

Solid-state drive (see 

Solid-state drive (M.2) on page 43

).

b.

Fans (see 

Fan assembly on page 54

).

c.

System board (see 

System board on page 55

).

Remove the RTC battery:

1.

Position the removed system board upside down.

2.

Use a non-conductive tool to pry the battery from the socket (1), and then remove the battery from the 
system board socket (2).

Reverse this procedure to install the RTC battery.
