Descriptions of Event Messages
298: ZTMF-EVT-AlterDisconnect
Using a TMFCOM ALTER BEGINTRANS, AUTOABORT command, an operator
attempted to set the autoabort timer value lower than the configured disconnect timer
value.
Additional Unconditional Tokens
ZTMF-TKN-EVTHDR-ProcessType
is the subject token of the event message, and identifies the TMF process that
generated the event. The value of this token for this event is ZTMF-VAL-PROC-
TMP.
ZTMF-TKN-DisconnTimer
contains the current disconnect timer value.
ZEMS-TKN-Emphasis
is set to True for this event.
Effect
The TMFCOM ALTER BEGINTRANS, AUTOABORT command fails.
Recommended Action
If this is a normal transaction that spans multiple nodes, consider increasing the
disconnect timer interval with a SNOOP SETDISCONNECTTMR command. Do so with
caution, however, because the timer could be merely masking the true cause of the
problem. A Support Note is available documenting the use of this command. Contact
the Global Customer Support Center (GCSC) before issuing the SNOOP
SETDISCONNECTTMR command.
Additional Unconditional Tokens
ZTMF-TKN-EVTHDR-ProcessType token-type ZSPI-TYP-Enum.
ZTMF-TKN-DisconnTimer token-type ZSPI-TYP-Int.
ZEMS-TKN-Emphasis token-type ZSPI-TYP-Boolean.
Event-Message Text
The ALTER BEGINTRANS, AUTOABORT (timer) command has
failed because the autoabort value cannot be below the
disconnect timer value. The disconnect timer is currently set
to ZTMF-TKN-DisconnTimer.
