Installing the Rack Rail Assemblies

To install the rack rail assemblies into the rack:

1.

Identify the left rack rail assembly and the right rack rail assembly.

IMPORTANT:

The left rack rail assembly and the right rack rail assembly differ from each

other. Check the labeling on the assemblies before installation to be sure that you install
each assembly into the appropriate side of the rack. From the front of the rack, the left
rack rail assembly installs into the left side of the rack and the right rack rail assembly
installs into the right side of the rack.

2.

Compress the left rack rail assembly by pressing the rail compression lever
toward the front of the rail (1)

.

3.

From the front of the rack, identify the rack holes on the inside of the rear of the
rack that you marked with the template. Insert the rear rail tabs on the rack rail
assembly into the marked holes on the interior of the vertical posts on the rear of
the rack (2).

4.

Pull the rack rail assembly towards the front of the rack and carefully align the
tabs on the front end of the rack rail assembly with the marked holes on the front
of the rack (3).
