Configuring MLD snooping in
a VLAN
Required.
Enable MLD snooping in the VLAN and configure the MLD snooping
version and querier.
By default, MLD snooping is disabled in a VLAN.
When you enable MLD snooping, follow these guidelines:
•
Enable MLD snooping globally before you enable it for a VLAN.
•
MLD snooping for a VLAN takes effect only on the member ports
in that VLAN.

Configuring MLD snooping
port functions
Optional.
Configure the maximum number of IPv6 multicast groups and
fast-leave processing on a port of the specified VLAN.
When you configure MLD snooping port functions, follow these
guidelines:
•
Enable MLD snooping globally before you enable it on a port.
•
MLD snooping enabled on a port takes effect only after MLD
snooping is enabled for the VLAN.
