SFP port
The HPE 5950 48SFP28 8QSFP28 and HPE 5950 4-slot switches each provide two SFP ports. You
can install FE SFP transceiver modules in
Table 16 and GE SFP transceiver modules in Table 20 in
the SFP ports as needed.
IMPORTANT:
The SFP ports on the HPE 5950 48SFP28 8QSFP28 and HPE 5950 4-slot switches do not support
SFP-GE-T modules.
QSFP28 port
The HPE 5950 32QSFP28 and HPE 5950 48SFP28 8QSFP28 switches provide QSFP28 ports. You
can install the following transceiver modules and cables in the QSFP28 ports:

QSFP28 transceiver modules in Table 21 .

QSFP28 copper cables in Table 22 .
•
QSFP28 fiber cables in Table 23
•
QSFP28 to SFP28 copper cables in Table 24 .
