Before removing the system board, follow these steps:

1.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

2.

Remove the access panel (

3.

Remove the drive cage (

Remove the system board:

1.

When replacing the system board, make sure that the following components are removed (as applicable) 
from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:

2.

Disconnect all remaining cables connected to the system board, and note their location for 
reinstallation.

3.

Remove the front I/O bracket by pushing the bottom away from the chassis, and then removing the 
bracket.

4.

Remove the eight Torx screws (1) that secure the system board to the chassis.
