hello-time
: Interval to send NDP packets, in the range 5 to 254 seconds.
Description
Use the
ndp timer hello
command to set the interval to send NDP packets.
Use the
undo ndp timer hello
command to restore the default.
By default, the interval to send NDP packets is 60 seconds.
Note that the interval for sending NDP packets cannot be longer than the time for the receiving device
to hold NDP packets; otherwise, the
NDP table
may become instable.
