Upload the HPE Service Pack for ProLiant
Do not use Microsoft Internet Explorer to upload the SPP update package because this browser cannot handle
large file sizes. Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to complete this setup.
Procedure
1 From the top left corner of the HPE OneView UI, choose HP OneView > Firmware Bundles.
2 Delete any included firmware packages by selecting them and choosing Actions > Remove.
3 Click Remove bundle.
4 Click Add Firmware Bundle:
a Click Choose file, browse to the location of the SPP ISO, and click Open.
b Click Start Upload.
c After the ISO has been successfully uploaded, click Close.
It takes several minutes for OneView to inventory the entire service pack. You can move on to the next tasks
while this process is happening.
Add HPE OneView Licenses to the HPE OneView Appliance
HPE OneView requires a license for each managed server, but it imposes no restrictions on the number of
VMs that can be associated with a license. For this solution, you should have received multiple HPE OneView
license keys. HPE OneView automatically applies these licenses to the servers after you add the licenses to
the license pool.

Procedure
1 From the top left corner of the HPE OneView UI, choose HP OneView > Settings.
2 Click Licenses.
3 Choose Actions > Add license.
The Add license dialog box is displayed.
a Enter or paste the license key into the License Key box.
b Click Add to complete the action or click Add+ to add another key.
4 Repeat the procedure to add all keys to the HPE OneView license pool.
