Intel Identify Protection Technology (IPT):
Models configured with Intel 2nd generation Core processors have the ability to utilize advanced security protection for online
transactions. IPT, used in conjunction with participating web sites, provides double identity authentication by adding a hardware
component in addition to the usual user name and password. IPT is initialized through an HP ProtectTools module (sold
separately).
