vsf member reboot
Syntax
boot vsf member
<MEMBER-ID>
Description
Reboot the VSF member and have it rejoin the virtual chassis with the current configuration. If the
boot
option is
specified, the switch will come back up with the existing member-ID and rejoin the virtual chassis with the current
configuration.
Parameters
<MEMBER-ID>
The VSF member-ID for the member command or parameter. Member ID value can be in the range of 1 to 8.
Restriction
Reboot will not be available until VSF is enabled.
vsf member remove
This command removes the entire configuration for a specified member. After issuing the command, the specified
member-ID is available for reuse and may be provisioned or assigned to another device.
If the member physically exists, its configuration will be erased. It will then be powered down by default.

Description
Removes the entire configuration for a specified member and reboots it. If the member physically exists, its
configuration will be erased. If the VSF link is still present, the member reboots and joins the stack through
automatic configuration.
