If you intend to use an FBWC module, install the module on the storage controller. Depending on the
controller model, the cable connector on the cache module might be facing up or down when the
module is installed on the controller board.
a.
Connect the cache module backup power cable to the module.
b.
Install the cache module on the storage controller.

If installed, remove the rear drive cage (" Remove a rear drive cage " on page 37 ).
9.
If installed, remove the six-bay SFF rear drive cage (" Remove a rear drive cage " on page 37 ).
10.
If an expansion board is installed on the PCI riser cage, remove the PCI riser cage (on page 34 ).
