reboot

: Specifies that when a software exception occurs on an MPU, the switch automatically reboots the 

MPU to recover it from the error condition. 

Description 

Use the 

system-failure

 command to configure the software exception handling method for MPUs. 

By default, an MPU reboots to recover from a software exception condition.  
In an IRF fabric, the software exception handling method applies to all member switches.  

 

 

NOTE: 

An LPU always reboots to recover from a software exception condition.
