Resetting the camera
If your camera does not respond when you press any buttons,
use the camera
Reset
switch to reset the camera:

Open the battery door on the bottom of the camera and
remove both batteries.

Press the straightened end of a
paper clip into the
Reset
switch
until the switch is depressed,
then remove the paper clip. The
camera is reset.

Reinsert the batteries and close
the battery door. You may now
use the camera again.
My image is
too dark.

Your finger
blocked the
flash.
Be sure to move your fingers
away from the flash when you
take a picture.
The scene had
many light-
colored objects,
such as a white
dog in snow.
Increase the
Exposure
Compensation
(see page 32)
so
the light-colored objects in the
scene will not look “muddy.”
