The
MATH
menu holds all the functions that are
not used often enough to be worth a key of
their own. There is a very large supply of
functions available, many of them extremely
powerful, listed in their own chapter later in the
book. When you press the
MATH
key you will
see the pop up screen shown right. The left hand menu is a list of topics.
Scroll through the topics until you find the one you want, then use the right
arrow key to move into the list of functions for that topic.
For example:
The function
ROUND
will round off to a specified
number of decimal places.
E.g. round off 145.25667 to 3 decimal places.

Press
the
MATH
key & right arrow (
→
) into
the
Real
group of functions.

Press the ‘
R
’ key (the
9
key) to move to
the first of the functions beginning with ‘R’,
then move down one more function to
ROUND
. Press
ENTER
.
!
Now finish off the command and press
ENTER
again to see the result.
