Enabling the spanning tree feature (in STP/RSTP/MSTP
mode)
In STP/RSTP/MSTP mode, make sure that the spanning tree feature is enabled globally and on the
desired ports.
To enable the spanning tree feature in STP/RSTP/MSTP mode:

By default, the spanning tree
feature is enabled for all ports.
Enabling the spanning tree feature (in PVST mode)
In PVST mode, make sure that the spanning tree feature is enabled globally and on the desired
VLANs and ports.
To enable the spanning tree feature in PVST mode:
