
Removing and replacing the LFF backplane assembly
Procedure
1.
Power down the server (
on page 36).
2.
Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3.
Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack (

• Remove the server from the rack (

4.
Remove the access panel (
on page 39).
5.
Remove the fan cage (

7.
Disconnect all cables connected the LFF backplane assembly.
8.
Remove the LFF backplane assembly.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Power down the server(

Remove all power:

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3.
Do one of the following:
