Before installing unit, remove wall mounting plate from back of unit.

Push on bottom of casing door to open it. Pivot and remove
casing door. Remove two screws from the back inside of
the unit and detach the wall mounting plate from outside
back of the unit.

Locate the studs in the wall and use at least four wood
screws to attach the wall mounting plate to the wall.
If installing onto drywall (not into a stud), anchors must be
used.

The optional thermostat provided with this appliance is specially designed for use on millivolt systems. They
should never be used on 120V or 24VAC circuits.
Exterior Wall
- The thermostat may be mounted on an exterior wall above the heater if it is located in the same
stud space as the vent tubes and is a minimum of 6in (152mm) above the heater.
Interior Wall
- The thermostat should be installed on an inside wall away from the unit but in the same room.

- It is important to use wire of a gauge proper for the length of the wire:
