Residues inside the hopper can be removed
through the gate valve in the hopper floor.
For this purpose place a suitable container
under the hopper and open the gate with the
hand wheel.
Hand wheel for residue emptying
For cleaning or the removal of residues it may
be necessary to climb into the hopper.
WARNING
Persons can be caught, pulled in and seriously
injured by the conveyor auger. Always switch
off the auger, shut down the tractor and pull off
the key, if there are persons inside the hopper.
Emptying speed
The auger should be driven with a speed of
max. 700 rpm. With higher speeds the drive may
develop vibrations, which could lead to damage
on the machine.
Higher speeds not necessarily lead to an in-
crease in power, since the filling may drop with
increasing speed, depending on the type of bulk
material.
Previous experience shows that at 500 - 600
rpm the end power is reached for most bulk
materials.
Access steps
In order to prevent collisions and damage to the
machine, the access steps must be folded in
when the emptying auger is folded in.

Folding in the access ladder

Pull the ladder in travel direction.
¾
Fold the foldable support up.
¾
Swing the access ladder up and push into
the bracket. The spring loaded bolt must click
into place.
Unfolding the access ladder

Hold on to the ladder and the foldable support.
¾
Pull the spring loaded bolt up to unlock the
ladder.
¾
Swing the ladder in travel direction and rest
the foldable support on the rubber buffers.
WARNING
Accessing means with insufficient stability can
lead to falls and injuries.

Always make sure that access ladder and
foldable support are correctly mounted before
stepping on the ladder.
