The seed is placed with the coulters:
• The coulter discs (4) cut through the seedbed and expose the seed horizon.
• The seed is then placed between the coulter discs.
• The uniformer (5) holds the seed in the furrow.
• The press roller (6) guides the coulter in depth and ensures closing of the soil.
• The harrow (7) covers the seed furrow with soil and calms the flow of soil.
The coulter body is mounted in maintenance-free rubber bearings (1). It links the
coulters and the press roller and transfers the coulter pressure.
7.2 Coulter discs
The coulter discs are arranged at the front at an angle with slight pretension to each
other. This enables light pulling work and exact opening of the seed channel.
7.2.1 Adjusting the coulter discs
Ø
Adjust the preload of the two coulter discs with the washers. If necessary, add
another washer.
