If solid fertiliser has been placed, hopper and
machine must be thoroughly cleaned. Fertiliser
is aggressive and speeds up the corrosion
process. It especially attacks galvanised
components like bolts.
Parking
DANGER
Serious accidents from loss of stability!

Park the machine only on a flat, paved sur
-
face.
¾
Before unhitching secure the machine with
the parking brake and wheel chocks.
¾
When unhitching machines with pneumatic
brake always disconnect the
red
connection
(supply line) first.
NOTE
¾
Clean the machine and prepare properly
before parking it for an extended period; see
chapter
Care and Maintenance.
The seed wagon can be parked on its own or
together with the drill.
It should be parked in a shed or under a roof
so that no moisture can accumulate in hopper,
metering unit and pneumatic system.

If the drill is still hitched up, lower it to the
ground and switch off the tractor.
¾
Secure the seed wagon with wheel chocks
against rolling away.
¾
Disconnect the corresponding hydraulic and
electrical connections and hook into the cor-
responding bracket devices.
¾
Disconnect brake lines.
¾
Place the parking support under the machine.
¾
Unhitch the machine.
¾
Empty the seed hopper and clean all meter-
ing units.
¾
Close the seed hopper cover.
¾
Store electronic components (terminal) for drill
control in dry rooms.
