Working with the machine
WARNING
Risk of health damage through contact with crop
protection agents.
Crop protection agents are harmful to health.

Wear personal protective outfit during all
work with crop protection agents or spraying
mixture and during cleaning work.
¾
Observe the accident prevention regulations
and the hazardous material data sheets
and other notes of the crop protection agent
manufacturer.
Wear protective gloves
¾
before you start to process crop protection
agents,
¾
before working on the contaminated attach-
ment or before cleaning the attachment.
Wash protective gloves with clear water
¾
immediately after each contact with crop
protection agents.
¾
before taking off the protective gloves.
Always observe when wearing the required
protective clothing:

Manufacturer's information
•
Product information
•
Operating instructions, safety data sheet or
the operating instructions of the crop protec-
tion agent to be used.
Preparing the spraying
mixture
DANGER
Danger caused by accidental contact with
crop protection agents and/or spraying
mixture!
When preparing spraying mixture there is the
highest risk of coming into contact with crop
protection agent.

Use the stipulated protective outfit!
¾
Follow the notes of the crop protection agent
manufacturers.
¾
Observe the national and country-specific
regulations and standards (e.g. water pro-
tection areas).
WARNING
Danger of environmental damages from con-
tamination with chemicals.
¾
Observe the regulations of the competent
water protection authorities.
¾
The national and international regulations
regarding the transport of agricultural equip-
ment must be observed when transporting
crop protection agents and spraying mixture!
¾
Generally, flush in the crop protection agents
through the illuviation valve into the spraying
mixture container.
¾
Swing the illuviation valve to the filling position
before crop protection agent is filled into the
illuviation valve.
¾
Follow the safety regulations when handling
crop protection agents and when preparing
the spraying mixture: Read the instructions
for use for the crop protection agent.
¾
Do not prepare the spraying mixture in the
vicinity of wells or surface waters.
¾
Avoid leakages and contamination with crop
protection agents and / or spraying mixture by
acting appropriately and by wearing approp-
riate body protection.
