PPF system
In the standard setting the valves in the fall
sluices are positioned in such a way, that seed
is filled into the front and fertiliser into the rear
hopper.
The fertiliser distributor tower is in the rear
hopper.
Swapping the hopper ratio
The hoppers can be swapped if more seed than
fertiliser shall be placed.
¾
Swap the cell wheels in the metering units.
¾
Fill fertiliser into the front and seed into the
rear hopper.
¾
Switch the valves in the fall sluices over to
the respective opposite side and lock them.
¾
Enter the correct placing quantity for the
two metering units on the terminal of the
E-Manager and perform the calibration test
for each metering unit.
Follow the operating instructions for the
E-Manager.
Using both hoppers for seed
If no fertiliser is to be placed, both hoppers can
be used for seed.
¾
To do so, access the
Configuration
menu in the
E-Manager and select the option
2x seed
in the
Metering unit
item.
¾
Enter the hopper ratio in the terminal of the
E-Manager. The E-Manager controls the me-
tering units in such a way, that both hoppers
will be empty at the same time.
¾
Adjust the air valves in the fall sluices so that
the volume flow is directed to the distributor
tower for seed.
¾
Close the distributor tower for fertiliser with a
lid to prevent the inside hopper pressure from
escaping via the fertiliser system.
¾
Set the valve in the seed hose to the middle
position.
¾
Fit both metering units with cell wheels for
approx. half the desired seed quantity. If the
two cell wheels do not have the same size,
fit the larger wheel in the metering unit of the
rear hopper.
¾
Perform the calibration test and enter the
respective values in the terminal of the
E-Manager.
Follow the operating instructions for the
E-Manager.
G & F - System (Grain and
Fertilizer)
Machines with G & F system may be equipped
with one or two distributor towers.
Half-width shut-off - one distributor tower
On all machines with a distributor tower the
section can be manually switched with the dis-
tributor cover.
Manual half-width shut-off lid
¾
Unscrew the distributor lid and reinsert it into
the tower with the plates facing down.
Make sure that the desired side has been shut
down and check the air flow on the coulters of
the still open half with the fan running.
