1. Raise toolbar to top of plant
height (approximately 22 degrees
depending on model) mode to
enable fold mode entry. Enter
Fold Mode from main work
screen and fold icon. Upon
entering fold mode a warning
screen pops up to fold cat walk
guard rail down and select OK.
( Note: Damage to guard rail and
planter wing components will
occur if guard rail is not placed in
the storage/down position
before folding planter.)
2. If equipped with sliding gauge
wheels, a gauge wheel symbol
and two X’s representing right
and left gauge wheels
(IN)
will be
displayed. (
Note:
If a ? is
displayed instead of an X this
represents a position switch that
is not being detected . )
3. Tractor remote disengaged,
select toolbar raise/wing fold
icon. Engage tractor remote to
raise toolbar. toolbar will raise to
approximately 30 degrees when
gauge wheels begin to slide out if
equipped. Once slid out the X’s
turn to green check marks
indicating gauge wheels are slid
in. Note: If Gauge wheels are
not slid in, gauge wheels will
contact the tanks and damage
will occur.
4. After toolbar raises to
approximately 70 degrees the
toolbar stops raising and the
wings begin to fold in. Continue
folding wings in until they are
fully folded in. Disengage tractor
remote. Select toolbar
lower/end of wings down icon.
Engage tractor remote and raise
toolbar up/lower end of wings
down into saddle. Note: If gauge
wheels are not slid in it will not
be possible to select icon to bring
wings down into saddle.
5. After end of wings are
securely down in the saddle the
toolbar position should read 90
degrees and check mark will light
up. Select check mark to exit fold
mode and navigate back to main
work screen.
Note: If SOD fan or ground speed signal is noticed, the machine will not fold.
