Depth guide wheel with spokes
The soil can escape more easily from the
depth guide wheel in case of blockages due
to sticky conditions.
However, the wheels are not suitable on
stony soils or with long-stem harvest res-
idues.
Setting the drilling depth
The drilling depth of the coulter discs is limited
by the depth guide rollers.
The drilling depth can be adjusted in 12 steps
(approx. 1.5 to 9 cm when new). The drilling
depth changes by approx. 0.6 cm per step.

Depth guide wheels
During drilling the depth guide rollers must touch
and clean the coulter discs.
The position of the wheels to the coulter discs
must be adapted, e.g. when readjusting the
coulter discs.
NOTE

Adjust the depth guide rollers as close to the
coulter discs as possible.
However, they should contact the coulter
discs too tightly.
Inspection
: Lift and release the depth guide
rollers. They must drop down by their own
weight.

Unscrew the screw (1) and pull off the wheel.

Change the assembly sequence of shims (2)
accordingly.
Remove a shim on the inside depending on
the spacing.

Mount the wheel and secure it again with the
screw (1).
If the depth guide rollers need to be adjusted
any further, unscrew the screw (3) and change
the discs (4) in their assembly order as required.
