4.4 Adjusting the spraying
height
WARNING
Danger of crushing and impact for
persons if persons are caught by the
boom when lifting or lowering for height
adjustment!

Instruct persons to leave the danger zone
around the machine before lifting or lower-
ing the spray boom by means of the height
adjustment.
¾
Adjust the spraying height (distance between
nozzles and crop) as per currently applicable
guidelines.
¾
Always adjust the spray boom parallel to the
ground, because the specified spraying height
can only be achieved in this condition.
¾
Carry out all adjustment work on the spray
boom conscientiously.

4.5 Folding boom control
4.5.1 DistanceControl
For slightly cropped requirements the fully-
automatic boom control "Distance Control"
from Müller-Elektronik has been found most
beneficial.
An automatic height and inclination control
adapts the boom to the crop.
