8.8 Troubleshooting
WARNING
Danger of crushing, shearing, cutting,
cutting off, being caught, winding up,
being pulled in and impact caused by
¾
accidental lowering of lifted, unsecured ma-
chine parts.
¾
accidental starting and unintended rolling of
the tractor/machine combination.
Secure tractor and trailer against accidental
starting and unintended rolling before starting
troubleshooting and repair work on the machine.
Wait until the machine has fully stopped before
you access the danger zone of the machine.
Malfunction
Cause
Remedy
The pump does not prime. Blockage in the suction
side (suction hose) / fitting
Remove the blockage.
Pump draws in air.
Check the hose connection on the suc-
tion hose for leakage.
No pumping power.
Jammed or damaged ball
valves
Replace the ball valves.
Pump draws in air, notice-
able air bubbles in the
solution tank.
Check the hose connections on the suc-
tion hose for leakage.
Wobbling of the spraying
cone
Irregular fluid flow from the
pump.
Check valves on suction and pressure
side, replace if necessary.
The required and entered
application quantity is not
reached.
High travel speed; low
pump drive speed
(PTO-shaft)
Reduce the travel speed and increase
the pump drive speed, until both the
error message and the audible warning
disappear.
The required and entered
application quantity is not
reached.
Blocked nozzles / nozzle
filter
Clean nozzles / nozzle filters.
Unscrew the nozzles and blow them out
with a compressed air gun (on the boom
middle section).
In case of frequent appearance check
the pressure filter.
The permitted spraying
pressure range of the in-
stalled spraying nozzles is
not complied with.
The specified travel speed
has changed, which affects
the spraying pressure.
Change the travel speed to reach the
travel speed range that has been deter-
mined for spraying operation.
The spraying pressure can
only be regulated down-
wards.
Spraying pressure too high Check the switch on the C-Box; switch
off for internal cleaning and induction
hopper.
The spraying value does
not correspond with the
nominal value.
Spraying pressure too low
- Close the quick filling valve.
- Clean the filter.
- Increase the engine speed.
