CAUTION
Danger of fingers or hand being crushed by
moving, accessible machine parts!
Never reach into the danger spot as long as
the tractor engine is running with the hydraulic
system connected!
1. Switch on the steering axle.
2. Use the teach menu on the terminal to steer
the steering axle to the maximum position,
whereby any collision of wheels with other
machine parts must be avoided.
3. Screw out the stop screws until the axle
touches the end stop and secure them with
the locking nuts.
Mechanical steering stop
Make this adjustment on both sides.
Depending on the equipment of the machine,
these stop screws are already assembled or
attached to the machine.
NOTE
Adjust the mechanical steering end stop so that
it is only activated when the electrical steering
end stop fails.
Refer to the HORSCH terminal instructions for
more details on adjusting the electronic steer-
ing end stop.
The undercarriage must be fully deflected
(air bellows relieved/pressureless). With the
wheels steered to the limit, check them for
freedom of movement.
3.22 Automatic Ackerman
steering
DANGER
Danger of accident caused by the machine tip-
ping over!
For road travel and transportation center and
deactivate the Ackerman steering Trail-Control.
With Trail-Control switched on:

Under 15 km/h: Trail-Control function active
¾
Above 15 km/h: Trail-Control function
switches off automati
-
cally!
CAUTION
Risk of accident from the machine topping over
at excessive speeds in curves e.g. at the head-
land. Corner only with appropriate speed.

3.22.1 Adjusting the mechanical
steering end stop
NOTE
When using different tyres or track widths, the
mechanical steering stop needs to be adjusted.
In addition, the max. end stops must be taught
again.
