Use in the field
SoftRide
The
SoftRide
system prevents the machine from
swinging during use in the field. To this end,
the undercarriage is dampened by the half way
extended hydraulic cylinder and a pressure ac-
cumulator.

Extend the hydraulic cylinder of the
undercarriage approximately to the
middle.

Switch the control unit to floating posi

tion.
This results in pressure compensation and the
undercarriage moves slightly up.
Approx. 30 - 50 mm stroke travel shall remain
on the piston rod for damping.

Lift out the machine with the hydraulic
cylinder of the drawbar and turn it over
the packer.
