5.4 HEART RATE ISSUE
Symptom:
Heart rate does not work.
Solution:
Check the battery on the chest strap.
A. Re-center the strap on the user's chest (Figure A). Apply a light amount of moisture to
the chest strap sensors.
B. Replace the chest strap.
With a multi-meter set for ohms, measure the resistance of the heart rate receiver wire.
Replace the wire if no resistance is found (1001000411433).
If the receiver wire checks good, or replacing the wire does not resolve the issue, replace the
console connected wire (1000411432).
If replacing the receiver wire, console connection wire does not solve the issue, replace the
console (1000428840).
