Preparation for operation
Operation check
Preparation
Perform the following check or work before turning ON the power.
Releasing optical unit lock screw
The optical unit in the detector is fixed by optical unit lock screws, to avoid possible vibration
or shock during transportation or mounting work.
When the detector mounting and wiring work are completed, remove the optical unit lock
screws (3 pcs), and replace them with the truss head screws with O-rings (3 pcs) supplied as
accessory. (Refer to Fig. 20.)
Note
If the instrument is in operation with the lock screws fixed after the detector mounting, a correct
detection may not be possible. Further continuous use in this condition may damage the inside of
detector.
Before removing the detector, first confirm that the power is turned OFF, and replace the truss head
screws (three locations) with the lock screws retained. If transported with the truss head screws, it
may damage the detector due to shock during transportation.
