Connecting the transmission output terminals

The terminal screws for transmission output is of M3.5.
z
The applicable electric wire is 2 mm
2
(AWG 14) max.
z
For the transmission output cable, use a shielded cable.
z
If there is a possibility of a lighting strike, install an arrester on the output side of this
instrument and on the side of receiving instruments.
Note
The maximum load resistance of transmission output is 900
Ω
.

Connecting the contact input terminal

The applicable electric wire is of 0.14 mm
2
to 2.5 mm
2
(AWG26 to AWG14).
z
For a cable for contact input, use a twist pair shielded wire.
z
If lighting might strike, install an arrester along the signal line.
Note
The contact input impedance shall be within 100
Ω
.
When Contact Input 1 is short-circuited, the EXT1 indicator on the display section will light up.
