Problems with measurement

Air bubbles forming in the
sample
Prevent air bubbles forming in the sample water.
Sudden change has occurred in
the liquid temperature
Install the instrument in a location that is not subject to a sudden change in
the liquid temperature.
pH has changed

Install the instrument in a location where the pH fluctuation is moderate.

Refer to “Influence of sample pH” (page 68).
Electrical conductivity is outside
the specification range
Measure the electrical conductivity using a sample of 8 mS/m or above.
Sample flow rate is unstable
(outside the specification range)

Adjust the flow rate within the specification range.
z
If there is contamination or clogging with foreign matter within the cell,
remove it.
z
Check that the outlet piping is connected correctly.
Moving average count is low
z
Set a higher value for dF.
z

Excessive amount of beads is
supplied
Supply the specified amount of beads.
A terminal block screw is loose
Tighten the terminal block screw securely.
Terminal block is poorly
insulated
Remove any humidity or contamination from the terminal block.

Electrode contamination

Clean the electrode. Polish the electrode with the provided abrasive
paper.

procedure ” (page 47).
Disconnection or short-circuit of
connector cable
Check the connector cable.
Terminal block contact failure
Check the terminal block.
Sample flow rate is outside the
specification range

Adjust the flow rate within the specification range.

If there is contamination or clogging with foreign matter within the cell,
remove it.
z
Check that the sample flows through the measurement section.
Sensor deterioration due to
metal ion
The metal ion concentration under the installation environment is outside
the specification range. Measurement cannot be performed.
Wiring error
Check that wiring is connected to the terminal block correctly.
Disconnection or short-circuit of
connector cable
Check the connector cable.
Terminal block contact failure
Check the terminal block.
Abnormal
operation
Board corrosion due to corrosive
gas, etc.
Supply the clean instrument air from the air purge supply inlet.
Power
does not
turn ON
The power supply voltage is
outside the rated voltage range
Check the power supply voltage.
Wiring error
Check the power distribution line.
