8.3.3.7.5 Addition of Exceptions to Standard Restrictions
After the standard restrictions have been set once, certain exceptions may be necessary for
special hosts/sub-networks in order to allow remote time servers and client hosts/sub-net-
works to contact the NTP service.
These standard restrictions are to be added in the form of restriction lines.
An unrestricted access of the Time Server 8030HEPTA/GPS to its own
NTP service is always allowed, irrespective of whether standard re-
strictions are ignored or not. This is necessary in order to be able to dis-
play NTP data on the web interface.
Add restriction exception: (for each remote time server)

The entry of exceptions also works for IPv6 addresses. For this, the IPv6 address must be
entered in the column IPv4/IPv6 Address and the length of the IPv6 net mask must be entered
in the Netmask column.
