4 .1 STOPPING THE MACHINE IN AN
EMERGENCY
Precondition:
• There is an emergency situation.
1. Remove the battery from the setting tool.
2. Immediately bar the setting tool and prevent its
further use.
4 .2 SPIN ON FASTENER USING THE
TRIGGER
Precondition:
• The desired threaded mandrel or threaded
sleeve and the desired nosepiece are fitted,
• The setting tool has been set up and

has been selected as spin on mode, see
• The setting tool is unlocked, see chapter 3.3.
1. Insert the battery into the setting tool.
2. Press the trigger briefly.

The unlocked starting mask / working
mask appears on the screen.
3. Hold the fastener in front of the threaded
mandrel or threaded sleeve.
4. Press the trigger.

The fastener is automatically screwed on
and the tool stops as soon as the fastener
has been completely screwed on.
4 .3 SPIN ON FASTENER USING
THREADED MANDREL / THREADED
SLEEVE
Precondition:
• The desired threaded mandrel or threaded
sleeve and the desired nosepiece are fitted,
• The setting tool has been set up and

• The setting tool is unlocked, see chapter 3.3.
1. Insert the battery into the setting tool.
2. Press the trigger briefly.

3. Hold the fastener in front of the threaded

4. Press the fastener inwards onto the threaded
mandrel or threaded sleeve.

The fastener is automatically screwed on
and the tool stops as soon as the fastener
has been completely screwed on.
4 .4 SETTING FASTENERS
ATTENTION
Incorrect setting of fasteners
Material damage
• Position the fastener at right
angles to the part.
• Observe the correct drill hole
size.
With our fasteners, the drill hole
size for the fastener is indicated
on the packaging of the respective
fastener. If fasteners from other
manufacturers are used, contact
the manufacturer for details of the
drill hole sizes.
Precondition:
• The desired threaded mandrel or threaded
sleeve and the desired nosepiece are fitted,
• The setting tool has been set up, see
• There is a drill hole for the fastener in the part.
• The setting tool is unlocked, see chapter 3.3.
1. Spin on the fastener, see chapter 4.2 or
2. Insert the fitted fastener into the workpiece at
right angle until the setting head is flush.
3. Press the trigger.
